The Colombo Plan was established on 1 July 1951 by Australia, Canada, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom and currently has expanded to 26 member countries including non-Commonwealth countries and countries belonging to regional groupings such as ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation).

Director of the CPDAP, participated in the 47th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Drug Matters (47th ASOD)

Mrs. Oranooch Sungkhawanna, Director of the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme (DAP), participated in the 47th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Drug Matters (47th ASOD), hosted virtually by the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), Thailand. During the meeting, she presented an update of CPDAP’s programmes and regional efforts to strengthen cooperation in the region on drug control.

DAP is honoured to contribute to this important regional platform and remains committed to working with ASEAN Member States to advance effective and sustainable responses to drug-related challenges.
