H.E. Dr Reyes delivered a presentation on the initiatives undertaken by The Colombo Plan to combat the pressing issue of dangerous drugs in the region. This address took place on the inaugural day of the Middle East Drug Dialogue (MEDD), which was held from 15 to 16 October 2024 in Budapest, Hungary. The event was organised by the U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Intl Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL), under the leadership of Deputy Assistant Secretary Maggie Nardi, in collaboration with The Colombo Plan.

H.E. Dr Reyes participated in the Day 2 of the Middle East Drug Dialogue (MEDD) where during the concluding sessions, participants reached a consensus to continue discussion and enhance cooperation on thematic concerns related to the implementation of drug programmes.
