From 20 to 22 May 2019, The Colombo Plan in partnership with the Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) and the Butabika Hospital conducted TOT on Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) School Track Courses 1-3 for 21 participants. Uganda was the second African nation after Nigeria to roll out the UPC.
The participants comprised a multidisciplinary team that included representatives from the secondary and university institutions, the police, pharmacists, nurses, social workers and educational administrators.
The school tract course 1-3 training was delivered by Rogers Mutaawe (Uganda), Rogers Kasirye (Uganda) and Maria Ilugbuhi (Nigeria).
