As part of the ongoing collaboration with The Colombo Plan and the South-South and Triangular Cooperation (KSST) framework, the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has launched an international Capacity Building Programme focused on advancing small and medium industry development. Titled “Knowledge Sharing Programme on Enhancing the Development of Small and Medium Industries through Innovation and Intellectual Property Initiatives,” this programme was launched on 29 July 2024. It brought together 18 participants from Bhutan, Laos, India, Saudi Arabia, Fiji, Indonesia, and Iran. The primary goal of this programme is to foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices related to the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across these diverse nations.
